Welcome to Archie Watson Racing

Archie Watson took out his trainer’s licence in 2016 with just three horses. In 2018, he saddled two-year-old Soldier’s Call to win at Royal Ascot among other Stakes victories.

In 2020, he trained his first Group 1 winner aged 31 as in-training buy Glen Shiel landed the Group 1 QIPCO British Champions Sprint Stakes on Champions Day at Ascot. Archie has also enjoyed Graded glory over hurdles courtesy of Stag Horn. He has already trained over 500 winners. Archie has spent his whole life around thoroughbreds and has learned from some of the world's most successful operations. From the historic Saxon Gate in Upper Lambourn, Archie has established himself as one of the leading trainers in the country with the promise of much more to come.
